How to keep a healthy heart and protect yourself from cancer?

Want to reduce your risk of heart disease and several types of cancer at the same time? Experts advise: embrace the seven healthy habits and enjoy good health!

Not only can you reduce your chances of contracting heart disease, but can also reduce the risk of lung cancer, breast, prostate and colon cancer by almost 40 percent, according to researchers at Northwestern University who analyzed the data over 13 300 patients.

What are the habits that you include in your life? Follow the rules of healthy eating, move, do not smoke, maintain a healthy weight and blood pressure, watch your cholesterol level and blood sugar. If you include only one of these changes in your life you can reduce the risk of these diseases by 20 percent, and if you embrace between five and seven, then you can expect 40 percent lower risk of heart disease and several cancers.

The experts know how each of these areas can help protect against cancer, but no one has ever looked at the cumulative effect of all seven healthy habits recommended by the American Heart Association.
