Blood vessel disease

Vascular disease is also called peripheral vascular disease or arterial disease, where there is a narrowing of blood vessels in the abdomen, legs and arms. When the tears of blood vessels in your body parts comes less oxygen-rich blood. This may result in tissue and cells, or gangrene. Vascular disease is the leading cause of amputations.Blood vessel disease caused by the accumulation of fatty deposits called plaque. Some of the blood vessels or blood clots can cause other problems.


The symptoms of vascular disease in the abdomen, legs and arms
Muscle pain, stomach pain or cramps;
Cold, pale skin, cold hands and feet;
Reddish-blue color of the skin and nails on the hands and feet;
Painful wounds that long to heal or when okrastave look black;
Loss of hair on the legs, feet or toes;
Unconsciousness, or lack of pulse in the legs or feet.
Risk Factors
You are at greater risk for vascular disease if:
smoke,
have diabetes,
you are over 45 years,
you have high cholesterol,
have high blood pressure,
have family members who have heart or blood vessel disease,
you are overweight,
not active.
