Peanuts could become an important weapon in the fight against heart attack, according to a latest survey.Snacking or eating peanut butter, peanut least five times a week can halve the risk of heart attack. They found that peanuts lowers cholesterol, prevents inflammation and improves blood cells around the heart.

In the period of 22 years, scientists at Harvard University studied six thousand women with type two diabetes, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. These women had a special diet, and every two to four years were filled out questionnaires about their diet.

When the scientists compared the results, they found that women who ate peanuts were protected from heart attacks and strokes. The surprise is that risk is reduced by as much as 44 percent.

'It is extremely useful in the food and put the peanuts because it reduces cholesterol and helps health. Of course, peanuts and should be consumed in moderation. Every day a little bit and do not overdo it because it will not bring anything good to the body ', said researcher Ellen Mason.
